🩺Getting On Duty

🚑 You've Chosen to Serve with San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS)!

Here’s how to get started as a certified medic under the callsign 8M-.

Step-by-Step Duty Setup

1. Teleport to a SAMS Station

Open the chat and type: /tp

• Choose Fire & EMS Stations
  
  

• Select a Medical station in your area
  
  

2. Equip Your Uniform

Open the chat and type: /uniform

• Choose the SAMS uniform preset
  
  

3. Go On Duty

Exit the uniform menu, then type: /duty ems

• Select "Medical Services"
  
  

4. Set Up Your CAD

Open the chat and type: /showcad

• Log in to your Sonoran Account
  
  

• Authenticate your API ID (follow the onscreen instructions)
  
  

• Select "EMS"
  
  

• Enter your Unit Number, Player Name, and Rank
  
  

• Set both your agency and department to San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS)
  
  

• Save your settings
  Unit Number Format: 8M-
  
  

5. Set Up Your Radio

• Click the notch at the top right of the radio UI
  
  

• Allow it to load into "Statewide Patrol Operations"
  
  

• Open the settings (⚙️) and select your microphone input
  
  

• Allow mic permissions when prompted
  
  

• Adjust radio and SFX volume in the settings menu
  
  

6. Spawn Your EMS Vehicle

• Go to the SAMS Garage (yellow medical garage icon)
  
  

• Choose a vehicle from the SAMS department category

🩺Getting Off Duty

When ending your shift,:

1. Use /dv on your vehicle

2. Exit the radio; Open the radio (F5, /radio), press the power button

3. Use /offduty to revoke your access to the SEM Menu & Disable your duty blip

4. Click the green Toggle Shift button on the MDT self management page.

5. If not leaving the server, change your outfits to something without any law enforcement insignia.
