👮‍♂️Getting On Duty

You’ve Chosen to Serve as a Law Enforcement Officer

Here’s how to get started with one of the following departments:

• LSPD – Los Santos Police Department (City jurisdiction)
  
  

• BCSO – Blaine County Sheriff’s Office (County jurisdiction)
  
  

• SAST – San Andreas State Troopers (Statewide highways)
  
  

Step-by-Step Patrol Setup

1. Teleport to a Department Station

Open the chat and type: /tp

• Choose Law Enforcement Locations
  
  

• Select a spawn point based on your agency:
  
  

  • LSPD = City stations
    
    

  • BCSO = County stations
    
    

  • SAST = Any station
    
    

2. Equip Your Uniform

Open the chat and type: /uniform

• Choose the preset that matches your department.
  
  

3. Go on Duty

Exit the uniform menu, then type: /duty leo

• Select "Police Services"
  
  

4. Set Up Your CAD

Open the chat and type: /showcad

• Log in to your Sonoran account
  
  

• Authenticate your API ID (follow the onscreen instructions)
  
  

• Select "Police"
  
  

• On the top panel, fill in the following:
  
  

  • Unit Number
    Unit Number Format: P- = LSPD, S- = BCSO, T- = SAST

  • Player Name
    
    

  • Rank (Public Cops are LEO I)
    
    

  • Agency: San Andreas Law Enforcement Service
    
    

  • Active Department
    
    

• Save this.

5. Set Up Your Radio

• Click the notch on the top right-hand side of the radio UI
  
  

• Load into "Statewide Patrol Operations"
  
  

• Open the settings (⚙️) and select the correct microphone input
  
  

  • Allow microphone access if prompted
    
    

• Adjust radio and SFX volumes using the sliders at the top
  
  

6. Spawn Your Patrol Vehicle

• Go to the LEO Garage (blue garage icon or marker at stations)
  
  

• Choose a vehicle from your department’s category

👮‍♂️Getting Off Duty

When ending your shift,:

1. Use /dv on your vehicle

2. Exit the radio; Open the radio (F5, /radio), press the power button

3. Use /offduty to revoke your access to the SEM Menu & Disable your duty blip

4. Click the green Toggle Shift button on the MDT self management page.

5. If not leaving the server, change your outfits to something without any law enforcement insignia.
